I’ve seen the HPs in your other posts, but not the Elliptrac. So you’ll want to cross over around Hz for good system stability.

I am not well versed in xover design but I don’t think the impedance will pose any issues, you could check with Community and see what the cost is for a 16ohm set of diaphragms. I think that I read a post where you said that you had customers use the JBL ‘s with these and they comprsssion very happy.

Community used to be famous for their horns and drivers, but those systems have mostly gone away and Community makes its money from complete full-range loudspeakers now though many of Communty’s horns and drivers are probably still in service. I was told to expect outstanding results.


When you have a sound gig that you don’t need the triamped system for for instance – you wouldn’t take it out and set it up for a wedding m200you’ll compressin something small that will sound good with just a very basic set-up.

FWIW, the regular M driver goes all the way back to or so. Watch out for fader creep. I hope this solution works out for you. I think it’s com;ression marvelous setup. I strongly urge you to consider this route as it is likely the one that will give the best results conpression the money invested, and they will have plenty of useful output from Hz to 20, Hz, covering most of the voice range as well.

I have JBL s, but the Beyma should work better because it goes lower. Posted October 5, And most likely padding it. It looks like they just refined it for a few of their newer smaller designs which would be compressiom different crossovers anyhow. If you can afford to, still hang onto two of the TD speakers.

The result will be a low-distortion sound that you’ll feel like you can crank it forever. You’ll also need to be able to add an extra crossover point between the horns, or perhaps use a pre-assembled two-way passive crossover.

The horns themselves are less expensive. Has anybody tried the Community M driver on the Elliptrac horn? With all due respect, don’t cross-post across forums. I’ve said and comprewsion things in the past that I wouldn’t throw away in my own trash can for fear that you’d find them.

Actually, now that you mention it, it seems like those should be a very nice combination, less expensive than the SBS The M with its 2″ exit and low compression ratio sounds much better than traditional If this is the case then what cab would work good.
